Article Abstract:

An overview of politics in Louisiana is presented. When Bobby Jindal was elected governor of Louisiana, it was presumed that the greatest challenge that he would face will be the largely Democratic state Senate. It is believed that Jindal will encounter problems in northeast Louisiana if he will not be able to deliver on the first things its leaders ask of him.
