Michael D. Eisner, CEO of Walt Disney Co. hired his old friend Michael Ovitz in 1995 as president, but in 2005 a court case involving Ovitz's brief tenure is stimulating a campaign to remove Eisner and other members of the Walt Disney Co. board. A judge in the Delaware Court of Chancery unsealed some documents in a Disney shareholder case against Eisner, Ovitz and the other Disney board members at the time of the hiring and $40 million termination of Ovitz.

A legal battle against Barnes Foundation's art collection over issues like the ethics of selling artwork, the value of the Barnes' real estate and the soundness of Barnes' proposal to move from Merion to Center City in Philadelphia is discussed. The three Barnes art students have taken this legal help to express their opposition to the Barnes' proposal and are looking for funds to support their view.

Montgomery County Orphans' Court Judge suggested that Barnes gallery could save itself from financial ruins if it sells some of its real estate and artwork pieces that are not on display in its Lower Merion gallery. Barnes could raise at least $50 million towards its endowment and perhaps eliminate the need to move to Center City.
