Wire from Portugal goes worldwide

Article Abstract:

Portuguese company Oliveira, producing 6000 tonnes of synthetic ropes, 8000 tonnes of wire ropes and combination ropes every year, is sending the ropes worldwide in Spain, Norway, Iceland, Canada, Holland, Namibia and Morocco. The Spanish market remains very special for the company, as the Spanish fleet fishes all over the world and carry the Oliveira name for wires with it.

Skipper updates North Sea chart

Dirk Pijl, a retired beamer skipper is working with Holland Nautic of Appeldoorn, a Dutch electronics supplier in improving its customer service by updating the MaxSea North Sea chart. The chart would include the information of pipelines, Kingfisher data, notices to mariners and data from fishermen.
