Waco's truth trickles out

Article Abstract:

The US Justice Department has admitted that pyrotechnic tear gas was used by the FBI the day of a fire at the Branch Davidian compound, Waco, Texas. The Justice Department argues that the compound was set on fire by Branch Davidian members themselves, and has stated that two canisters of pyrotechnic material were used. The Justice Department did not carry out an internal investigation following the siege and this has since led to problems. The Branch Davidians are meanwhile bringing a civil suit alleging wrongful death.
