Unilever to invest in cosmetic production

Article Abstract:

Unilever CR (Prague, Czech Republic), food products and cosmetics company, will invest CEK 300 mil to enlarge its cosmetic production. In 2001 the company will move Unilever's soap manufacturing for all Europe from the UK to Povltavske tukove zavody (PTZ) (Nelahozeves, Czech Republic), a part of Unilever CR. Thus PTZ's soap production will triple. Unilever CR generated a net profit of CEK 265 mil in 2000, double compared to 1999.

Chebske VAK plans to invest CEK 150 mil in the reconstruction of a sewerage

Article Abstract:

Chebske VAK (Cheb, Czech Republic), water firm, plans to invest roughly CEK 150 mil in the reconstruction of the sewerage in Marianske Lazne, the Czech Republic. The investment project will be supported by the European Union (EU). EU will reserve EUR 2.6 mil, nearly CEK 90 mil, for the project. CEK 39 mil of the sum should be reserved for 2001.
