U.K. distiller Glenmorangie is putting itself on the block

Article Abstract:

Following a decision by its majority stakeholders to sell their shares in the company, Glenmorangie Distillery has decided to put itself up for sale. U.S. distillery Brown-Forman Corp. is considered a likely contender for purchase of the British scotch-whiskey maker. Brown-Forman already has a relationship with Glenmorangie as it has been distributing and marketing its products in the U.S. since 1992.

BAT gets leg up on rivals with factory deal in China
