Scottish Mutual has introduced the Flexible Trustee Investment Plan (FTIP) customised pension investment vehicle in two formats: Classic FTIP and Tailored FTIP. The Tailored version is aimed at corporate clients, fee-paying individuals, and those seeking pooled pensions funds; while the Classic product offers the diversity of the Scottish Mutual Pension Fund and links with Perpetual, Newton, Merrill Lynch, and Fidelity.

UK: INVESCO LAUNCHES MULTI-MANAGER FUND LINE

Article Abstract:

Invesco is targeting the occupational pensions sector with a multi-manager range of funds from Deutsche Asset Management, Threadneedle Pensions, Schroder Pensions, and Morley Fund Management. Also available to customers is selected Barclays Global Investors index-tracking funds and actively managed funds from Invesco itself.

Wesleyan Assurance Society has introduced a stakeholder pension and plans to offer companies face-to-face financial advice. FSA decision trees are a good start for obtaining information on stakeholder schemes, however, they fail to help in the selection of an appropriate provider.
