The Flipinos love to have fun and almost nothing, not even rain, thunder or an earthquake, prevents them from doing so. In the Philippines, people have the uncanny ability to see something good from a bad situation. In the city's capital of Manila where ballroom dancing is the latest craze, men and women alike, regardless of age, social or economic status, can be seen frequenting the night spots to have fun despite their many problems.

Time-share providers band together to set up rules for booming business

Article Abstract:

Time-share operators in Asian countries such as Singapore, Hong Kong and Indonesia are establishing industry associations to regulate their own ranks and protect consumers from unscrupulous operators. The potential for abuse in the industry is particularly strong given the right of developers to sell properties for a period of time to numerous buyers.

Singapore spends millions to nurture its hopes of becoming a culture hub

Singapore is being developed into a cultural and arts hub of Asia. The government is spending millions of dollars and is offering tax incentives, financial assistance and permanent residence to performing artists. Two landmark projects that are being built are The Esplanade and The Singapore Art Museum.
