Tuna ship ahead of schedule

Article Abstract:

Spain's Freire shipyard has built its first tuna seiner which is likely to be delivered in February 2006. The details of the design and construction of the tuna ship are presented. The installations on the ship are also discussed. The ship is being built ahead of the schedule.

Faroese trawlers ready for inshore season

Hansa Maria and Skalafossur are two trawlers built by Faroe Islands based Torshavar Skipasmidja shipyard for Hans Andreas Pulsen and Danjal Jacobsen respectively. A brief description of the two trawlers and the equipments and supplies installed thereon is presented.

Short trips for Faroe's new trawler
