Traveller's tales

Article Abstract:

Travellers from Hong Kong's Kai Tak Airport to China find it extremely difficult to obtain reservations on flights into the Chinese mainland. Passenger volume to China has risen at the rate of 50% per annum since 1990, while increase in fleet strength has remained limited to 15%. Despite the inability to cope with heavy passenger traffic, China has discouraged foreign companies from operating flights to China. Consequently, passengers have to spend several hours in queues to obtain seat reservations.

Traveler's tales

Article Abstract:

Cultural reforms in China have affected all social sectors including former political prisoners, the aged, the youth and even the foreign population. These sessions are sometimes viewed as a chance to freely manifest emotions without fear of recriminations.
