Transverse netting gentle on the fish

Article Abstract:

Tests conducted by Sintef on codends that included one on T90, proved that the transverse netting is gentle in handling the fish as it creates less turbulence. The strength of netting when used in the wrong direction is between 5% and 15% greater than the normal.

David O' Neill of Garware- Wall explains that the Sapphire PE netting of India based Garware-Wall doesn' t need to be dipped and is easy to repair. The demand for the netting in Gulf of Mexico is discussed.
