The toilet tissue market is led by Scott, with its Andrex brand having a 24% value share, followed by Kimberly-Clark Ltd. and Jamont UK. The toilet paper market is forecast to reach 628 million pounds sterling in 1995, rising to 652 million pounds sterling by 1998.

It was observed that although the UK consumer took a greater interest in premium products, standard toilet paper still represented 75% of value sales in 2003 and saw steady growth over the review period, with 1.7% current value growth in 2003 over the previous year.
