The design of reverse distribution networks: models and solution procedures

Article Abstract:

A strong and weak mathematical programming formulations for a reverse distribution problem is proposed and new solution methods are developed to solve this problem. It is concluded that the new solution methodology heuristic expansion (HE) can be an extremely beneficial add-on technique to solve complex location-allocation problems.
