Article Abstract:

The exploration stage of transport is when the idea of going from A to B is born but when travelers actively start avoiding the route due to congestion then there is an increasing emphasis of conducting business in A-B land without actually going to either place. When it is recommended that the A-B route be closed, then its function is taken over by new communications technology of the future where letters become weightless when replaced by emails and route A-B actually works better closed than open.

Article Abstract:

The solution to London's transport woes does not lie in piling population upon population and development upon development, making it more fragile and vulnerable with each passing day.
