Article Abstract:
The exploration stage of transport is when the idea of going from A to B is born but when travelers actively start avoiding the route due to congestion then there is an increasing emphasis of conducting business in A-B land without actually going to either place. When it is recommended that the A-B route be closed, then its function is taken over by new communications technology of the future where letters become weightless when replaced by emails and route A-B actually works better closed than open.

Article Abstract:
The solution to London's transport woes does not lie in piling population upon population and development upon development, making it more fragile and vulnerable with each passing day. It is suggested that low density `wireless' communities distributed across the vast swathes of land not required for agriculture could ease the pressure on the capital and put an end to cramming in the countryside at the same time.
