Hilary Clinton has repeatedly defended her husband, President Bill Clinton, who has faced a number of allegations of infidelity. She has not revealed her feelings, and has greater self-control than her husband. She is ruthless and exudes little empathy, yet is popularand is seen as a good role model. Both career women and non-career women support Hilary Clinton. The view of her marriage is that she is likely to divorce her husband after he leaves office. There is a US respect for ambition which is reflected in views of Hilary Clinton.
