George Gilder's Gilder Technology report has a major influence on stock prices, though he does not claim to be a stock tipper. He is buying out Forbes magazine, his JV partner on the newsletter. Gilder was previously involved in developing the supply-side policies of Ronald Reagan. He sees a move from smart devices to a number of smaller ones that are interconected. He has an understanding of the technology and pays attention to engineers when he studies a company.
