An exploration of the Spanish market for perfumes and fragrances for the period 1994 to 1998 reveals a transition from mass brands to premium brands. The market, which increased by 32% during the review period, is dominated by women's perfumes and fragrances, accounting for 52.5% in terms of value share in 1998. However, the fastest-growing was the sector comprised of unisex perfumes and fragrances, which expanded by 91.7% during the report timeframe. The report also includes predictions until 2003.
