Several new stories coming out regarding the Paula Jones case may well favor Pres Bill Clinton because such stories suggest that the statements of Paula Jones will be difficult to prove in court. New statements include one from Daniel Traylor, former counsel of Paula Jones, that reveals a $1000 payment to Ms Jones and husband from a right-wing filmmaker.

Article Abstract:

The credibility of Paula Jones in her sexual harassment case against Bill Clinton was damaged by a report by Stuart Taylor in Legal Times, in which Jones's story comes under attack by witnesses. Taylor had earlier written a story which bolstered Jones's claims.

The Paula Jones ratchet

Article Abstract:

The Paula Jones scandal has been like a slowly tightening ratchet for Clinton. His lawyers originally were able to claim immunity from a lawsuit against the president, but the Supreme Court has ruled that Jones should be able to sue Clinton.
