Project spots poachers and counts fish take
Article Abstract:
A drastic increase in the tuna resources has been observed in Tanzania. A monitoring, control and surveillance center (MCS) has been set up to collect information from vessels to find the reasons for poor income from the industry with much better potential. The operating center has found some illegal fishing in the region.
