Iceland based net-maker Netaverkstaedi Sudurnesja has designed a new seine. The design and efficacy of this new seine are discussed. The seine has been tested using Fjolbrautarskoli Sudurnesja's new flume tank. This new seine is installed on seine netter Sigurfari. The efficacy of the seine is discussed.

Radio link operates pair trawl winches

Article Abstract:

Lidan Marine of Sweden supply winches with radio links for the lead vessels to make changes to warp. The capacity of these winches is up to 3600 metres of 26mm wire and 2500 of metres of 86mm wire and 350 ton pulling power.
