Still mad about cows

France has refused to acceot beef imports from Britain, despite a European Union (EU) ruling that British beef is safe. A consumer boycott of French goods has begun in Britain, while some French farmers have blockaded a route to Britain from France. The French food agency argues that British beef may not be safe due to risks from mad cow disease. Britain aims to use the EU to make France accept the imports. Meanwhile, the British agriculture minister is boycotting French products, while the British opposition Conservative Party wants to ban imports of French meat.
