Shetland's new 70 metre pelagic ship

Article Abstract:

'Charisma', the UK Shetland Island's new 70 metre mid-water trawler is described. The trawler is being used for fishing in the North Sea mackerel grounds. Skipsteknisk AS of Norway designed it and it was built by Norwegian yards Flekkefjord Slipp and Maskinfabrikk AS for a partnership on the island. The various equipments installed in the trawler and the special features of the trawler are described.
