Article Abstract:
The internal reporting methods within business enterprises differ from the reports required by regulatory authorities, analysts and shareholders. Consequently, the businesses are increasingly relying on business performance management software to improve their financial reporting, compliance and decision-making methods. The organizational changes required for improving the effectiveness of such software and the services that management consultants can provide in this context are discussed.
