Airbiz, the aviation business development and strategic advisory consultancy within the Airplan Group, has been commissioned by the Samoa Airport Authority to conduct a business strengthening study. The company is also tasked to develop and implement a business plan and other measures to improve the airport's revenue base and reduce dependency on external funding. The $112,000 study is financed by the World Bank and is expected to take five months to complete.

Quiligotti Contracts, a UK-based company, has installed the hardwearing, durable flooring at Bristol International Airport's new terminal. More than 6,000 sq m of 30x30 cm tiles in grey and white design were used for the flooring which would endure a throughput of 3.5 million passengers a year. The tiles selected for the terminal's floor form a very flat surface suited to trolleys and wheeled suitcases.
