Article Abstract:

Rudolf Jelinek (RJ) (Vizovice, Czech Republic), spirits producer, increased its proceeds by 13% to CEK 123.5 mil in 2000 compared to 1999. Its operating profit amounted to nearly CEK 8 mil in 2000. The firm's exports rose by two thirds in 2000 compared to 1999, mainly due to its subsidiaries in Slovakia and the US. RJ's supplies to the US include kosher products solely.

Hedva increased its proceeds in 2000

Article Abstract:

Hedva (Moravska Trebova, Czech Republic), textile company, increased its proceeds for the sales of its products, services and goods to CEK 732 mil in 2000. The sum was CEK 40 mil higher compared to 1999. Hedva saw a net audited profit of CEK 8.1 mil for 2000 compared to a loss of CEK 34.4 mil in 1999. Hedva is mainly a manufacturer of silk fabrics and ties.

Cedok raises proceeds

Cedok (Prague, Czech Republic), travel agency, expects similar proceeds in 2001 as in 2000. The firm's proceeds totalled CEK 2.3 bil in 2000, CEK 100 mil more compared to 1999. Its economy should result in black numbers in 2001 compared to a balanced economic result for 2000, which was influenced by considerable investments.
