Article Abstract:
British Broadcasting Corporation Ltd (BBC) Unit Executive Editor Robert Thirkell suggests his programme on the Millennium Dome, Greenwich, London, will show the high level of creative expertise used the architects. Thirkell along with BBC Producer Adam Wishart have made a television series about the construction of the Dome. The series 'The Dome - Trouble at the Big Top' features the difficulties faced by everyone involved in the project. Wishart points out they tried to make a non-judgemental study of the building and the people working on its construction.

Article Abstract:
Copper is a cheap, light and durable roofing material. It is traditionally supplied in 1,800 by 600 milimeter sheets that can be joined in four basic ways. These can be modified and different substrates and underlays can be used to produce curved effects. Adequate ventilation must be provided together with insulation from other metals that could be damaged by contact with copper and allowance for thermal expansion. Newer developments include Long Strip Roofing and pre-patinated copper.
