Mozambique's misery

Article Abstract:

Floods have hit Mozambique, which was starting to enjoy an economic recovery and, apart from damaging the economy, landmines will have been shifted to unsafe locations. Zimbabwe has also been affected, and there is some reluctance to provide aid, which it is feared that the government could squander. A Coca-Cola plant in Mozambique has been hit, but should be able to restart production without much delay. Many of the very poorest people have lost all they possessed.
