Moser will fall into the hands of Iris

Moser (Karlovy Vary, Czech Republic), glass manufacturer, will change the structure of its shareholders in 2001. The city of Karlovy Vary plans to sell its 5% stake in Moser to Iris (Czech Republic), which holds a 94.5% stake in Moser at the moment. Iris has offered CEK 2.827 mil for the stake in Moser to the city. Besides, it has promised to support the budget of the city with CEK 200,000 per year during 2002-2004.

Moser saw a profit in 2000

Moser (Karlovy Vary, Czech Republic), glass company, saw a pre-tax profit of CEK 18.5 mil in 2000. The sum was 137% higher compared to a profit of CEK 7.8 mil in 1999. The improvement of the firm's results was supported mainly by the growth of exports. Moser's exports rose by 36% in 2000 compared to 1999.
