Linear production games with committee control: limiting behavior of the core

Article Abstract:

A study examines the relation between the core of a given controlled committee linear production (LP)-game and the set of payoff vectors generated by their shadow prices and core allocations. The main focus is on the convergence of the core of LP-games with committee control to the set of competitive equilibria as the number of players increases uniformly.

On equivalent results in minimax theory

Article Abstract:

The article reviews known minimax theorems with applications in game theory and shows that theorems can be proved using the first minimax theorem for a two-person zero-sum game with finite strategy sets published by Neumann in 1928. To show the implications, simple properties of compact sets and the well-known Weierstrass-Lebesgue lemma are used.
