Koolhaas' concrete casa

Article Abstract:

The Casa da Musica by OMA, a part of Porto's celebration for the European City of Culture in the year 2001, would open in later April 2005 as it was delayed due to political problems and difficult site conditions. The Casa da Musica resembles a deformed structure of concrete, but its bold architecture aims to demystify and democratize concert going.

Details about the architecture of Singapore Arts Center that stand among the high-rise buildings of Singapore City are presented. The 4ha complex houses five performance auditoria is a 1,800-seat Lyric, 750-seat Medium, 400-seat Adaptable and 200-seat Studio with an outdoor performance spaces, function rooms, restaurant and bar and a shopping mall.

The Chinese Arts Centre is the UK's focus for encouraging and promoting contemporary Chinese arts and culture. The centre knows that it has its work cut out to build up understanding of contemporary Chinese art, trying to make the culture accessible as well as putting the arts and crafts on show.
