KPN raises stake in SPT Telecom

Royal KPN NV acquired a 6.5% stake in SPT Telecom AS of the Czech Republic for $266.1 million. KPN already owns 27% of SPT through its TelSource venture with Swisscom AG. Analysts say KPN's stake in SPT could make it more appealing to the large telecom companies consolidating the market.

Lithuania scales back IPO of State Telecom company

SK Telecom's plans for stake progress

SK Telecom Co. will sell off a minority share of itself to NTT DoCoMo Inc. for $2 billion to $2.6 billion (2.32 billion euros to 3.02 billion euros). SK will sell NTT at least 14.5% of its shares.
