Australian poet Les Murray is on a European tour to demonstrate why he is probably the best poet in his country. He claims to have no highbrow aspirations and has little interest in other forms of high art. His poetry captures a celebration of the world from his Christian perspective.

Allen Ginsberg, poet and prominent member of the beat generation, died on April 5, 1997, at the age of 70. Ginsberg's work filled some 40 books during his lifetime, but perhaps his most famous and socially significant poem remains 'Howl.'
