Judging the Booker Prize
Article Abstract:
Some of the books shortlisted for the 1997 Booker Prize are not as good as some books ignored by the judges. Two books that should have been included are 'Enduring Love' and 'The Magician's Wife.' Arundhati Roy's book 'The God of Small Things' is one of the best selections on the shortlist.
