Article Abstract:

A number of architects prefer a property investment in order to provide their retirement fund as a result of its good returns. However, the disadvantages of a property investment are that the difference between the buying and selling price cannot be taken easily since the acquisition, maintenance and disposal costs could be burdensome and when a property investment is compared to a pension investment, it is not possible to gain tax concession uplift.
