Interplanetary migration

Article Abstract:

Life may have been transferred from one planet to another, with meteorites housing life forms within them. Earth and Mars may have been seeded with life, with Mars being more receptive at an early stage. Curt Mileikowsky from Stockholm's Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden, sees transferral of life as a possibilty. He does not see it likely that life could have arrived from a different solar system, though distances were not as great when Earth's solar system was formed, so it is a possibility.
