In the last three years, Indian travel firms such as SOTC Holiday Tours Private Ltd., SITA World Travel (India) Ltd., and Travel Corp. (India) Ltd. have all been bought out, the first two firms by Kuoni Travel Holding Ltd., and the third by Thomas Cook Holdings Ltd.

Travel agencies provide help in containing travel costs by offering their analysis and showing companies how to get the most out of their mileage. Establishing efficient ticketing methods and a travel policy are important steps in containing costs. At the same time, to promote efficiency, a management fee with a savings incentive can be helpful.

China is safe travel area say tour agents, visitors

Article Abstract:

Tour agents have assured potential travelers to China that the country is relatively safe despite the increasing incidence of crime, especially against foreigners, in the area. Nevertheless, tourists are wary and even the local population has been warning visitors to take extra caution. The victims have been killed in either their hotel rooms or in some remote vacation spots. The motive was usually robbery.
