How to look after number one

Article Abstract:

Designers have mixed contemporary and classical themes in the new luxury hotel One Aldwych in London, England. The building, originally designed to be a newspaper office in 1906, is classical. Construction features are typical of this era but the triangular plan is unusual. The shape necessitated individual room designs. Some suites at the corners of the building include three bedrooms and an exercise room. The lobby area is spacious and empty. Materials for furnishings and fittings include stainless steel, silk, acrylic and dark wood. Statues occur throughout the building.
