High pressure cleanup

Article Abstract:

Vactor Manufacturing has introduced a Vaxjet closed loop cleaning system that is capable of removing oil, dirt, grease, rubber and other contaminants from flat surfaces. The system, named Vactor Vaxjet, was built by contractors Thomas and Page Sheree over an eight-year period and has been designed to comply with US' anti-charge regulations. Vactor Vaxjet uses high-pressure water blasting to up to 10,000 PSI, a powerful vaccum source and a multi-stage filtration process to remove contaminants.

Sanderson serving airport users

Sanderson has released a client server version of its Airport 20-20 airport operational database, a software system which allow air traffic control staff to monitor aircraft movements and locations. The system can also assist in posting costings, invoices and log passenger numbers. It is described as an airport management tool that can relay information to airport staff, control operators, managers and agents.

Intersystems has introduced RapidAds, a multi-media advertising display solution that is intended to provide new revenues sources for airports and vendors by inserting advertisements on highly visible display devices that show flight, gate, and baggage information. Customized adverts can be shown to targeted audiences in various areas such as check-in areas, gates and baggage carousels.
