Agricultural biotechnologist Richard Jefferson believes that biotechnology can help the 780 mil people suffering from malnutrition. Jefferson's belief in grassroots innovation and 'meta-technologies' led him to form the Centre for the Application of Molecular Biology to International Agriculture.
