German dividends fall short

The majority of German blue-chip companies on the DAX 30 index are paying only a small portion of their dividends based on their financial situations. A Handelsblatt survey said that two-thirds of these companies?have the finances to?pay out higher dividends in 2003.

Microsoft to double dividend; some investors call for more
