GMAC offers $2 billion issue

Financing company GMAC LLC launched its first junk-bond offer since December for $2 bil, double the originally anticipated amount. A majority stake in GMAC was bought from General Motors Corp. by a consortium led by the investment firm Cerberus Capital Management in 2006.

B&G Holding plans to offer shares

Boussard and Gavaudan Holding Ltd. shares have risen by more than 18% after being taken public by B&G Asset Management last November, and plans are to offer more shares this summer. The Amsterdam-listed firm has raised $545 mil for the Sark multistrategy fund.
