French market for carbonated soft drinks

Article Abstract:

A report analyzing the market for carbonated soft drinks in France is presented. It was found that in 2003, the per capita consumption of carbonates in France was 11 liters, which was the lowest among European Union countries and about 33% of households do not purchase carbonates, which indicated the potential for further penetration.

Article Abstract:

The carbonated soft drinks market in Eastern Europe is examined. Standard cola remained the most popular carbonate type in Eastern Europe and Romania, Russia and Slovakia still recorded strong growth in total sales of standard cola in 2002, despite the growing health trend favoring non-cola carbonates, fruit juice and bottled water.
