FRANCE: SODEBO'S NEW SANDWICHES

Article Abstract:

Sodebo has added four new varieties to its Le Gourmapains line of sandwiches, priced at between FFr 9.50 and FFr 14.90. These new varieties are Le Nordique (shrimp and surimi), Le Mediterranean (feta cheese and egg), Le Latino (beef with salsa sauce), and Le Perigourdin (duck fillet). They have a shelf life of seven to nine days.

FRANCE: PRONTO'S NEW PIZZAS

Article Abstract:

The Ter Beke company has introduced a new line of chilled pizzas, named Artefino, and sold under the Pronto brand. They have a 14-day use-by date and retail for FFr 25 to FFr 27. This line comes in four varieties: ham, mushroom, and cheese, goat cheese, three cheeses and chorizo.

France: Nicolas de Montfort sandwiches

Article Abstract:

The Grand Saloir St-Nicolas has launched a line of sandwiches under its Nicolas de Montfort line. These are filled small round rolls which can be eaten hot or cold depending on the variety. These rolls are filled and closed during the production process by using a special technology. They are sold in self-service departments.
