France: Delmotte's goals

Article Abstract:

Delmotte, the French frozen pastry and dessert company, wants to be carried in supermarkets and hypermarkets. It intends to use its strong brand awareness, acquired in restaurants, hotels and food services, as well as on its line of individual desserts in order to do this. Delmotte has invested EUR 4.57mn in order to increase the production capacity of its plant. This unit, which meets European quality standards, uses HACCP (hazard analysis and critical control point) methods for the entire production process.

FRANCE: BROSSARD SURGELES' NEW PRODUCTS

Under the Lenotre brand, Brossard Surgeles has introduced a new product named Petit Plaisir, which comes in to versions. Both are made with a soft macaroon and a light mouse; Petit Plaisir with nuts is round, while the chocolate Petit Plaisir is square. They are priced at EUR 3.80 for a box of two 65-g units.

FRANCE: FROZEN CAKE

In France, Sodiem has introduced a frozen version of the Canele de Bordeaux, a very popular cake in the Bordeaux region. This product, from Patisserie des 2 Moulins uses the small-scale recipe for this light, rum-flavoured cake. It comes in a 55 x 6 box, priced at FFr 19.90.
