Article Abstract:

Economic development has brought sweeping changes to the value system in Chinese society. More and more Chinese are abandoning socialist principles and are becoming too fixated on money, which have caused families to break apart as well as pushed crime and corruption to record highs. The continued erosion of Chinese values, however, may be arrested by the advent of a new conservatism, which is now apparent in recent government moves.

Value of property resurfaces in Japan
