France created Cheques d'Accompagnement Personnalise (CAP), financed by social organisations, in October 1999 to aid people in difficulty. Starting in April 2000, the Casino group was the first to use these in its Petit Casino, Spar, and Vital local shops networks. Casino signed an agreement with the Centrale de Reglement des Titres (CRT) for this purpose.

Casino, the French retail chain, is offering clients maps of its 3,836 French stores on its geant.fr, supercasino.fr, and groupe-casino.fr Internet sites. Clients can also obtain the address of the store nearest them or at their holiday site. Casino chose Planfax's Facility Cart for a cost of EUR 15,400.
