FRANCE: AGIS INTRODUCES PLATEAUX DECOUVERTES

Agis has introduced two Plateaux Decouvertes in the chilled foods section, celebrating the Chinese New Year. One is the Plateau Repas Asiatique with small spring rolls, samosas, Chinese fried rice, and nougat with sesame seeds. The other is the Plateau du Dragon, an assortment of 25 bite-size bits to be eaten as an aperitif or as an entree. They are packaged on tray under modified atmosphere, and they are priced at FFr 44.90 for a 435-gram tray and at FFr 54.90 for 600 grams.

FRANCE: AGIS TEAMS UP WITH BERNARD LOISEAU

Agis has launched a line of 12 ready meals in France bearing the name of Bernard Loiseau, a prestigious chef. This is expected to boost the selection of the company, which specialises in sous-vide dishes cooked at low temperatures. This line consists of four meat dishes, four fish dishes, three poultry dishes and a side dish. They have a 21-day use-by date. The recommended retail price is between FFr 26 and FFr 34 each. These products are sold in the chilled ready foods section of self-service departments.
