Eurobake satisfies Primary's hunger for deals

Article Abstract:

Food company Eurobake of France has sold three bakery product businesses to independent private equity concern Primary Capital for 10.15 million pounds sterling. The businesses comprise food manufacturers Furniss Foods of Redruth, England and Lowthers (Cakes) of Wigan, England, together with food distributor Cookie Coach of Stockport, England. The company believes Cookie Coach has good expansion potential, especially within the convenience retail market, with the food industry also perceived as offering high growth opportunities. The acquisition is Primary Capital's first completed deal.
