The coup in Ecuador

Article Abstract:

Pres Abdala Bucaram of Ecuador was removed from office because of alleged 'mental incapacity,' however the vote by the Congress amounts to little more than a coup. Fabian Alarcon from Congress has taken over as president, with little or no opposition from the army.
