Economic planning in industrial wastewater systems using O.R. techniques and WODA package

Article Abstract:

A framework for river basin industrial wastewater economic planning and management has been developed. The technique is intended for use in Dobbins-type river systems and evaluates the biochemical oxygen demand and dissolved oxygen. A compromise minimum cost solution is derived from studies of completely centralized pollution control efforts and most economical single company control solutions.
